Today we pause to say "thank you" to the men and women who have worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces. Every serviceman and servicewoman who has served our country honorably has made sacrifices, and we sincerely appreciate their contributions to our national security.

 Gadue’s Dry Cleaning has begun its annual “Coats for Kids” campaign. “Coats for Kids” has been supplying warm winter clothing to families throughout Chittenden County for over 20 years. Drop off your gently used coats, snow pants, hats, mittens, scarves and winter boots at any Gadue’s Dry Cleaning location or at the University Mall customer service desk. Gadue’s will clean and recondition them, and items will be distributed through local agencies and schools to those children and families who need warm clothing to face the cold winter ahead. All sizes are needed, adult through infant, but articles should be limited to winter outerwear.

Leaps and Bounds is excited about being approached by Gadue’s Dry Cleaning to participate in the annual coat drive. Every holiday season our community of five childcare centers (serving over three hundred children daily) looks to find a way to give back to the greater community at large. In the present economic times we are excited to offer our families a way to give back, without extra added out of pocket expense. Specializing in infant, toddlers and young children we hope to fill the gap of these coat sizes in past drives. Leaps and Bounds is committed to participating in this drive annually. Renae D. Owner
